Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program

Application

Eligbility

Adult psychiatry residency graduates are eligible if they are either currently board-certified or board-eligible for American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) Certification in Adult Psychiatry upon graduation. The Fellowship program accepts rolling applications in the third and fourth years of residency. Please refer to the ACGME website Program Requirements and FAQs and Applications (acgme.org) and UCLA Geriatric Psychiatry program administrator for specific deadlines.  Generally, the Fellowship accepts applications beginning in the Spring of the PGY-3 Year of psychiatry residency.

Applicants must successfully complete an ACGME accredited general psychiatry residency prior to matriculation.  Applicants must be eligible for licensure by State of California and hold a valid California Medical License by July 1 of their fellowship year.
